A youth intervention and leadership development program. The objective of this initiative is to develop tomorrow’s leaders.
Youth participants engage in monthly educational seminars, which are designed to develop leadership, social-cultural development, and address youth interests and concerns.
Engage in different forms of activities such as talk sessions, workshops, community tours, speakers, movies, study groups, team building, etc.
Project Coqui’s youth have the opportunity to work and support events throughout the year. The youth acquire experience in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the following activities of the Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center
- “ Fiesta Latina”- I-X Indoor Amusement Park
- Educational and Cultural Activities throughout the year
- Youth Stage- Puerto Rican Parade and Latino Fest
- Puerto Rican Parade Float Building Committee
