Our Dance and Choreography program is designed for ages 5 to 18. The main focus of this class is on students having fun and enjoying dance as an everyday wellness activity while learning culture, teamwork, discipline, confidence, stage presence, and overall coordination.
Dances include traditional, modern Latin, and hip hop. (Make sure to read about our Summer Ballet dance program below too...)
All of our dance groups will have many opportunities to perform at our events and events throughout the community.
Ages 5 to 10 - 6:00pm Tuesday
Ages 11 to 18 - 7:00pm Tuesday
Ritmo y Raza
Concentrates exclusively on the traditional dances from countries such as Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and more.
All ages - 6 to 7:30 pm every Tues and Thurs.

Led by instructors from the renowned North Pointe Ballet, classes will consist of technique and rehearsal for the performance piece and also include an education component specific to Latin American dancers in the ballet world and historical significance with respect to these dancers and dance history.
Students will learn about Latin American dancers, choreographers and dance companies in the ballet world, including those that have come to America, how they got their start in dance, significant dance accomplishments, etc.
This class will be all about grace, discipline and inspiration!
6 weeks of class on Mondays in the summer to include: 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15, and 7/22.
Final day of class (7/22) will be a one hour rehearsal with all ages and 30 minutes set aside for performance.
Venue: 2800 Archwood Avenue
Ages 5 - 7: 6pm - 7pm.
Ages 8-11: 7:15pm - 8:30pm.
Students do not need special attire. However, gym clothes are preferred for ease of movement.
We would really like to see the students wear ballet shoes for this experience.
