Winter/Spring Session
In each 50-minute class, Alice Blumenfeld of Abrepaso Flamenco will teach flamenco dance technique including arm-work, footwork, traveling patterns, and turns along with a traditional Sevillanas choreography, a folk dance from southern Spain danced at many Spring celebrations and fairs.

Wednesdays, February 1 - April 26

Youth (ages 5-12): 6:30-7:20 pm
Adults/Teens (ages 13+): 7:30 - 8:20 pm

Kids (5-12): FREE
Adults/Teens (13+): $30 (for entire series)
Spring Session
Led by instructors from the renowned North Pointe Ballet, classes will consist of technique and rehearsal for the performance piece and also include an education component specific to Latin American dancers in the ballet world and historical significance with respect to these dancers and dance history.

Dress Rehearsal & Performance: May 6 & 7

Ages 5-7 (or any youth with no previous experience):
11:45 am-12:40 pm
Ages 8 & up with previous experience: 12:45 - 1:45 pm

Winter/Spring Session
Dances include traditional, modern Latin, and hip hop. All of our dance groups will have many opportunities to perform at our events throughout the community.

Grupo Coquí (ages 5-11): 6-6:45 pm
Sabor Latino (ages 12-18): 7-8:00 pm
COST
$10 class fee
Plus additional fees for performance attire (up to $20 per performance)
Registration for 6 pm class is FULL.
Please email info@juliadeburgos.org to register for the 7 pm, 12-18 yr old class or to join the waiting list for the 6 pm, 5-12 year old class.
