Pleibol is a fundraising weekend filled with games, food, and festive celebrations. This event pays tribute to the profound impact of Black and Latino individuals on the world of baseball. Pleibol spans three days leading up to Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month; A Gala Dinner Friday Night, Community Games on Saturday and The Tournament on Sunday. Our goal is to honor the rich history of minorities in baseball while raising funds for two deserving organizations, Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center and Baseball Heritage Museum.

The day starts with field activities with the Cleveland Guardians from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The first game of the day will be Classic Vintage Baseball. Food trucks arrive at 11am, resource tables and plenty of fun for the whole family. Every child that visits will receive a swag bag filled with amazing items from our sponsors and partners. The afternoon opens with community games of softball between local sponsors and supporters.
Sunday's tournament at League Park Field is a highly anticipated event in the world of competitive softball in Ohio. Teams are playing for a chance to be crowned the 2023 Pleibol Tournament Champion.
The occasion marks the unveiling of the new field lights, which will be a momentous occasion in the history of this iconic venue.
The night will start with an outdoor-catered Latino inspired dinner that will be followed by a panel discussion sponsored by The Cleveland Guardians. To cap off the evening, Justin M. Bibb, the Mayor of Cleveland, will unveil the newly installed Field lighting at the park for the first time in Cleveland's history.
This fundraising event is not only a celebration of the rich history of League Park but also an opportunity to give back to the community.
